Beyond understanding supercritical CO2 behavior in geological formations over time, the session will also cover the USEPA’s focus on monitoring to support the safety of sequestration projects. Monitoring of the injection zone, nearby geologic formations, surface air monitoring, and soil gas monitoring, among other monitoring procedures will be discussed.
